Tourism Industries/ International Trade Administration
Tourism Industries is the official source for international visitor statistics in the United States for travel both to and from the United States. The Tourism Industries (TI) office produces a diverse selection of reports. Publications range from general reports that highlight basic information including the number of travelers to and from the U.S. and the economic impact of those travelers, to in-depth and customized reports that provide extensive analysis on specific countries, destinations and traveler characteristics.
Tourism Industries was formed in 1996 within the Trade Development area of the International Trade Administration, US. Department of Commerce. It was created to ensure that core governmental functions are continued on behalf of the U.S. travel and tourism industry.
