Travel and Tourism Works for America (The Economic Impact of Travel on State and Congressional Districts) This new TIA report describes the importance of the U.S. travel and tourism industry to the U.S. economy. The travel economic impact statistics presented in the report include travelers' expenditures, as well as travel-generated employment, payroll income and tax revenues for the nation, each of the 50 states and Washington, DC and each of our nation's 435 congressional districts.
