Travel and Tourism Works for America (The Economic Impact of Travel on State and Congressional Districts) This new TIA report describes the importance of the U.S. travel and tourism industry to the U.S. economy. The travel economic impact statistics presented in the report include travelers' expenditures, as well as travel-generated employment, payroll income and tax revenues for the nation, each of the 50 states and Washington, DC and each of our nation's 435 congressional districts. The report clearly demonstrates that travel and tourism is one of the United States' largest industries and employers. Distribution Strategy: Emerging Models for Destination Portals This new report examines the eveolution of destination websites from marketing and merchandising tools to a newly emerging model supporting eCommerce and CRM.
