TRAVEL INDUSTRY PRAISES BORDER LEGISLATION
Thanks to the collective efforts of the entire travel industry, the U.S. Senate approved an amendment that would extend final implementation of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative so that potential problems can be worked out in advance. MEMBER OPPORTUNITIES

JUMP ON THE FAST TRACK WITH TIA AND NASCAR
TIA is working with Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) to develop a brokered sponsorship opportunity for the 2007 and 2008 NASCAR seasons. Members can purchase sponsorship "shares" in one of JGR's NASCAR Nextel Cup cars entitling them to one race as the lead sponsor and a second race as a secondary sponsor. Each share also provides the sponsor with unlimited advertising rights; inclusion on a race team website and email campaigns that include special offers and/or information about your organization as well as links to your website; pre-race driver meet-and-greets; pit passes; and more. This is an excellent opportunity to tap into this 75 million strong fan base/customer segment without the high cost of a full sponsorship. This is an extremely time sensitive opportunity - those that are interested should contact Adam Vance at 202-408-2127 by June 16th.

STILL TIME TO PARTICIPATE IN JAPAN COOP CAMPAIGN
Don't miss the exciting marketing opportunities available in Japan with the Department of Commerce (DOC) upcoming themed campaign "You've seen the film, now visit the set." Once again, DOC is working with TIA as its partner to execute the coop in conjunction with their campaign. For $5,000 you will get six months of online visibility generated by this $3.5 million promotion, where every component will have SeeAmerica.jp as the call to action. Your investment will buy you a "featured destination" or a "featured special" rotating ad spot on the SeeAmerica.jp home page throughout the duration of the campaign, June 15-December 15, 2006. The campaign includes high visibility promotions with two renowned retail companies in Japan, TV and Billboard advertising, and an online media campaign that consists of a U.S. movie trivia game and sweepstakes, e-mail marketing and online advertising. The new SeeAmerica.jp website will be relaunched on June 15 to support this campaign, and the traffic generated by our promotion is sure to give you great exposure for a very small investment.
