DOW KEYNOTES ADVENTURES IN TRAVEL EXPO
TIA President and CEO Roger Dow was the keynote speaker at the recent Adventures in Travel Expo in Washington D.C. Speaking before domestic and international travel executives from tour groups, ministries of tourism and state and destination tourism boards, Dow told attendees that travel can boost America's image overseas while helping our economy. "What is the power of travel? I believe it goes way beyond the experience that someone has in three days or seven days or two weeks. I think the power of travel is critical to our viability in the world today," Dow said. Washington was the last stop of the successful Adventures in Travel Expos tour which included Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Dallas and Southern California. Each expo featured a See America Pavilion where delegates viewed the best in adventure and outdoor travel throughout the U.S. For more information on the Adventures in Travel Expos, click here.
