Outlook for Travel and Tourism 2006
An invaluable tool when preparing marketing plans! The outlook for the $645 billion U.S. travel and tourism industry is very positive in 2006. Revenues are forecast to rise in virtually every sector as even the airlines are likely to be able to raise prices. The U.S. economy is expected to soften somewhat, but most travel industry experts say travel demand will remain strong and international visitors could top the previous record set in 2000. The Outlook documents the forecasts and trends outlined at TIA's Marketing Outlook Forum held in late 2005 in Seattle, Washington.
