TIA Salutes World Tourism Day

"Tourism Responding to the Challenge
of Climate Change"

On September 27, 2007, U.S. travel industry leaders, in Washington to participate in Travel Leadership Summit, paused to salute World Tourism Day's global celebration.

Pictured (left to right) are: Roger J. Dow, President and CEO, Travel Industry Association; Bob Warren, Chair of the National Council of Destination Organizations and Tourism Bureau Manager, Redding Convention and Visitors Bureau; Caroline Beteta, TIA First Vice Chair and Executive Director, California Travel and Tourism Commission; Margie Emmermann, Vice-Chair of the National Council of State Tourism Directors and Director, Arizona Office of Tourism; and Jay Rasulo, TIA National Chair and Chairman, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.
