| SIGNIFICANT TRAVEL REFORMS PASSED BY STATE
TIA, in partnership with the Travel Business Roundtable (TBR) and Discover America Partnership, has succeeded in pushing through the most significant reforms to the U.S. travel process in the post-9/11 environment. Passed out of the Senate on March 13, these reforms will help to strengthen security and improve travel for millions of international visitors. Both TIA and TBR said they will be working closely with Senate and House leaders to ensure the measures are retained when the two chambers conference in coming weeks to produce a final 9/11 bill. Much more work remains, but this is an extremely positive step in the right direction. For details, click here.

DE-CLUTTER WITH TRAVEL MARKETING SEARCH
TIA and partner Multiview, Inc recently launched the Travel Marketing Search – a cutting edge search engine providing members direct and immediate access to the products and services they need most. Available through a link on www.tia.org, Travel Marketing Search is a powerful search engine that continually indexes the websites of all companies represented in the list and features a broad array of products and services listings that will aid TIA members in their purchasing decisions. Therefore, searchers can easily locate products and services unique to the travel marketing industry without the clutter of a general Internet search.
