TRAVEL COMMUNITY APPLAUDS CONTINUED VISA WAIVER EXPANSION
PassportsTIA praised the Department of Homeland Security for expanding and strengthening the Visa Waiver Program by signing memoranda of understanding (MOU) with the nations of Slovakia, Lithuania, and Hungary. The MOUs are the first steps toward enabling their citizens to travel to the United States securely without a visa.

TIA's International Pow Wow is the travel industry's premier international marketplace and the largest generator of Visit USA travel! The last day to submit changes and register additional delegates to be listed in the International Pow Wow printed Delegate Registry is Tuesday, April 1. The Delegate Registry will be distributed during International Pow Wow in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 31 - June 4, 2008.

Appointment Requests must be submitted directly to TIA by April 4 to be included in the computer-generated scheduling process.  Any organizations registering after this date will not receive pre-scheduled appointments.
