Online Marketing Auction
October 1 – 30, 2008

The B to B Online Marketing Auction ended October 30 at 12 noon Pacific time. Winners will be notified shortly.

Proceeds will help launch important new programs in … tourism awarenessfutures-researchsecondary education … while continuing a twenty year tradition of college scholarships.

TIA Foundation programs include:

  • Junior Achievement Travel & Tourism Business Module (TTBiz) - A first-ever (U.S.) Junior Achievement International module being developed to introduce guidance counselors and an estimated 180,000 high school students each year to the business of travel as a career choice. Objectives of this high tech, multi-faceted program are to showcase high growth careers, increase the talent pipeline and raise awareness of the impact of the industry.
  • The Travel Futures Forum and Institute – A new annual Travel Futures Forum examining one major industry issue each year and its projected impact five years into the future. Deliverables will be recommended management initiatives, public policy recommendations and a monitoring/feedback system for gauging the accuracy of forecasts. The Forum is being developed in partnership with The George Washington University.
  • Computer Assisted Design (CAD) Visitor Awareness Program – A unique new CAD software program developed to highlight the statistical impact of travel and tourism on individual cities in a format that is high impact, visual, and easy to understand. This program is ideal for presentation to elected officials, media, regulatory agencies, financial institutions and investors, business groups, educators and more.
  • Graduate and Undergraduate level scholarships– An ongoing program of graduate and undergraduate scholarships for students in travel and tourism studies.

Donate An Item

Donate print and electronic advertising, promotions, sponsorships, lodging, travel, research, web analytics, SEO, public relations, consulting services … any item that meets the business needs of travel executives looking to expand their marketing efforts during these difficult times. Gifts to the 501 (c) (3) TIA Foundation are tax-deductible donations to the fullest extent allowed by law.

  1. Provide a brief 100 word description of the item to be donated and the estimated retail value and
